Appearance Clover mites are red/brown and are the size of a pin head fully grown.
HabitatClover mites appear as small red dots moving on doors, windows, drapes, curtains and furniture. You will find them a lot outdoors too.
How do they affect me?Clover mites are in the tick/spider family. They are not harmful to humans or pets, but they eat grass, clovers, and other plants in the lawn and around the home. They often crawl into cracks and crevices to lay eggs. Heavy migration of clover mites into homes happens in the summer and fall.
